I think smile's are very useful, if you want to show your feelings and don't know how you should write it. They are also very practically to write a text, which is more personally and funnier. For example you would become rather write a bad looking smiley if you are angry, as you would say it. And if you write an email, there are more smileys for emotions than words, because it is easier to show your feelings with pictures or smileys than describe it in words.
Information exchange about comunication methods and behavior in communication. Furthermore runs a discussion about internet, internet security and problems using the internet.

In think that smileys are very important for writing short messages on the internet. They can offer all your feelings without any words. And so you don't have to explain your feelings with long sentences. - You can show them. It is also nice to see a laughing smile form a friend. It gives you a good feeling, a better one than a word can ever give you. But they can also show bad feelings. When people are sad or desperate they can offer their feelings through these smileys so that everybody can feel with them. And the person doesn't need to explain anything.
